I hope all you mothers had a marvelous and happy Mother's Day
I'd like to share with you, this lovely bouquet and card that my beautiful daughter gave me for Mother's Day (but her greatest gift that day was a long and wonderful visit with her) .
The pop open card is a pretty bouquet in itself - it will be added to my collection of cherished memorabilia.
Wish I knew what these gorgeous bell shaped flowers are called. They are truly beautiful. If anyone knows please let me know. :)
Very unusual flowers! I would love to know what they are too. Glad you had a nice day!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a beautiful bouquet and card! I enjoyed the weekend with my daughter too.
ReplyDeleteThe bouquet is so tender and the card is beautiful! Everything speaks of thoughtfulness. You must have had a happy mother's day, indeed :)
ReplyDeletethis is so beautiful... what a beautiful bouquet for a special woman
ReplyDeleteHi Anna,
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a lovely Mother's Day :)
Your flowers are gorgeous :)
They might be Campanula with some lily of the Valley :)
Have a great week, cheers, T. :)
Thank you T - I think you're right about the white, bell shaped, flowers being Campanulas. I looked up Campanula and found a couple of pictures that looked identical to the flowers in my daughter's lovely bouquet. The blossoms are quite large, about an inch across by 1.5 to 2 inches long. Wish I could grow them here but seems like most flowers prefer a cooler climate, much like the climate you have in Portland. Flowers seem to thrive where you live. :)
DeleteYep, my little bell Campanulas are out right now but they are so bashed by the rain :(
DeleteStill pretty though :) T.
Those are stunning glad you got to visit with your girl! XOXO
ReplyDeleteWhat are those white flowers? Are they lilies? Anyways they are beautiful! Happy Belated Mother's Day. Happy to hear you enjoyed it.
