View from a hill on U.C. Berkeley campus - the city of Berkeley is unfortunately covered in a haze of fog - which is rather common for this area.
It doesn't take a astrophysicist to deduce that I've been offline for quite some time now. I seem to have lost my mojo and just can't figure out where it's gone . . . but if you should happen to see it would you be so kind as to direct it back home to me ?
I've sort of left my trip out west unfinished and up in the air. Though admittedly many of the photos that remain are less than stellar.
Photos above and below - more views of Berkeley from hilltop vantage point. From up here one can see "forever" . . . well one can see as far as the bay.
I hope your mojo comes back soon! I absolutely love Berkeley.
ReplyDeleteMy former bosses live in the Berkeley Hills and it's quite a view. I got some nice sunset pics of Mt. Tam silhouetted against the sky. Very foggy in the summer in the Bay Area. October was always one of the best months for clear weather. I'm glad you are back! I've missed you.
ReplyDeleteThank you JoJo - I'm hoping that I can get myself out of this funk that I'm in. For some reason I've developed an almost fatal case of Writer's Block and can't extricate myself from it.
DeleteHear you on the blogging mojo. I keep restarting & then fizzling, when I used to blog constantly. I chock it up to "life happens"
ReplyDeleteThanks Stacey. Yes life does happen and I think after a while one suffers some type of burn-out and a break is in order. At least I hope it is only temporary and I get back into my old groove again soon. :)
DeleteYou're not alone, I've noticed that many crafters took a sabbatical from blogging and crafting as of the beginning of 2014, I had to force myself to make things by signing up for challenges. There's no recipe, just don't focus on it, enjoy the break. You'll be back, you are an artist!
ReplyDeleteHi Anna :)
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you back here :)
I totally get the lost MoJo, maybe yours and mine went on vaca tog. and didn't tell us where they went or when they'd be back, lol :)
Really good to see more photos of your trip. I haven't been to Berkeley but one day I should pull off the freeway and go visit :)
Hope you have a wonderful week, cheers, T. :)
I've never been to Berkeley. Glad to see your pictures though and to see you back online with your thoughtful and sometimes funny comments on my blog! Missed you!
ReplyDeleteit's easy to get lost in the scenery and lose your mojo. I miss living in SF .... such a beautiful place, even with all the fog! you get used to it after awhile. I miss it in the summer out in NYC when it gets so hot and humid ... I dream about that SF fog :)
ReplyDeleteAh, it'll come back when it's ready ;) In the meantime, relax, and don't question too much. Take things as they come y'know? Trust you are keeping well, my friend *hugs*
ReplyDeleteMojo comes and goes. :) You're smart to write only when you want to, that keeps it fun for you (instead of a daily task).
ReplyDeleteI love those photos, haze and all!!
ReplyDeleteI totally understand where you are coming from about losing your mojo. I have been in that state of mind all summer. Your mojo will come back, and you will figure out exactly what you need to let your creative spirit soar.

I didn't realize Berkeley was so big!
ReplyDeleteMy mojo has been gone for a long time. I also think blogging has changed the last couple of years and I find it difficult to make the connections that I did before. Or maybe it's just me, lol !
