Our little lemon tree with a branch full of lemons. Looks like life is giving me lemons so guess I'm going to be making lemonade. :D
Or maybe lemon meringue pie ? What is your favorite lemon recipe ?

ps - I want to thank all of you for your lovely comments and kind words of encouragement regarding my bout of vertigo. I am feeling considerably better though still have a twinge of dizziness every now and then. This I may have to learn to live with, as my doctor ... well to be nice, I'll just say he thinks there is not much that can be done about it. :D
Yum!! Those look fabulous. Here is a great (and easy) recipe that I've made and it's oh so yummy!

I love lemon meringue pie!!!
I love lemonade but beyond that, not a huge fan of lemon stuff unfortunately. My mom loves it though. It'd be so cool to have fruit trees in my yard! Do you have oranges?
ReplyDeleteThank you Meeling. My little lemon tree is really full of lemons and I appreciate recipes that would use some of them up.
ReplyDeleteWe have juiced a lot of them and froze the juice in ice cube trays, then bagged the cubes and stored them in the freezer.
Sometimes I make just a glass of lemonade using a cube of frozen lemon juice, sugar and water, then add several plain water, ice cubes. But unfortunately our collection of lemon ice cubes is growing faster than we can use them. :D
Found you on the blog team on Etsy. Thought I'd stop by and say hi. Love your lemon tree!

Lemonade with lots of sugar (or honey), please :) Beautiful picture, we never managed to keep a lemon tree alive in out appartment, it needs freedom :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a stocked branch of lemons! Do they usually grow so thickly like that?

Everyday Inspired
Oh, now I want a lemon tree! I love lemon meringue pie and I use lemons for squeezing on roasted or steamed broccoli and for making vinegarettes.
ReplyDeleteI had white chocolate and lemon cookies the other day. I've never had that combination before but it was YUMMY!
ReplyDeleteAnd what a lucky thing you are to have your won stash!!

What a lovely thing to have growing in your garden :)
ReplyDeleteThe scent must be lovely and fresh :)
I used to make a mean lemon souffle but that was back in the days before all the salmonella worries in eggs, young and ignorant, LOL!!! :)
Now we use lemon and sugar on our crepes :)
Can't wait to see what you do make :)
Glad you are doing better :)
Have a lovely weekend, cheers, T. :)
So lucky to have a lemon tree! Lemon meringue pie is one of my favorites. :)
ReplyDeleteFound you on Etsy Blog team, following you now!
Anna, these are beautiful lemons. The colors on them are amazing.
ReplyDeleteLemon Muffins! They are the best - after making plain muffins while they are still hot dip the whole thing in a mixure of lemon juice and icing sugar. You will never try another flavour again - they are the best!
