Received this in an email today, could only imagine how lovely it must look in real life with the light glowing through the Murano glass tubes.
Venice 's Murano Island renowned throughout the world for its quality glasswork is home to the tallest glass tree in the world. Sculpted by master glass blower Simone Cenedese, the artistic Christmas tree is a modern reflection of the holiday season.

ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw the photo of this tree I could not take my eyes off of it and soon found myself dreaming about how nice it would look in my living room. Of course I'm sure it would cost about as much as a small house, so I'll just have to make due with my little artificial, 4 ft. tall, tabletop tree...hey it's not Murano glass but it does have fiber optics. LOL
Wow that's really funky! Matt & I were looking to do something kind of different this year and still haven't purchased anything yet. This would certainly do the trick.
