Even this little lizard, clinging to our patio screen, seems to be trying to stretch himself out to cool off. I think he looks a bit like a dancer in these positions.
And a one-two, cha-cha-cha. Turn, point, cha-cha-cha.

ICK! I couldn't hack that heat. I was whining about it being 86 today. I love your little lizardy friend :)
ReplyDeleteholy cow, that is hotter than I can bear. Over here in Maryland we had our 2nd day of frost in a row. So much for those veggie seedlings we planted. Very weird weather.
ReplyDeleteGreat post. I wish it was hot here on the other side of the country. Florence, OR. rain again. As usual.

Hillarious! Hang in there, baby!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the early heat. We have a cool spell...had to turn the heater back on.
Aly - The temps are high for this time of year, this is more like July heat ! I know that folks in Texas are used to the same sizzling heat of summer that we get in Florida, so enjoy the cooler days while you can. I am sooo NOT looking forward to July and August !!!
ReplyDeletePlantress - Too bad we couldn't get a median number between your frosty weather and our heat...then it would be pleasantly comfortable. Sorry to hear you lost the seedlings, Mother Nature can sometimes be heartless.
Beadwright - well I wish you warmth but not this kind of heat. Looks like we are in for a scorching, long summer. :(
Tash - I am rather fond of all our little lizards, they can be rather comical at times. I'm sure they don't mind the heat as much as I do.
I've heard that the north east has also been having cold weather and even snow in some places...wonder if that means our Florida heat will plummet in a couple of days ? Mother Nature is having a hard time making up her mind this spring. :)
oh he is a cute little fella.
ReplyDeleteit doesn't get that hot here.. so no lizards... ;)
Anna, wow, that is HOT!!!!!! We are going to have some sun for a few days after all the rain we are looking forward to it but it won't be that hot. Stay cool, T. :)
ReplyDeleteWish I was there! The lizard is so cute - we don't have them here.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Kristie's List, and I am your newest follower!
Please, if you wouldn't mind, could you send a little of that heat up this way? Its May in New England and up until a couple days ago only registering in the 40's at night. NEED HEAT lol! Super cute lizard dance lol
