Now if that wasn't arduous enough each item needs its own snazzy little blurb, those perky descriptions that just make you want to buy it, like rushing to buy that fantastic dicer, slicer, baker, toaster, roaster that you just saw on TV.
I would never make a good TV pitchman, that needn't even be said. After three days of writing descriptions and editing them, I am now literally drained of words. Since I'm the world's worst speller running spell check is not an option, it is a necessity. My brain feels like a sponge that has been wrung dry, every adjective has been maxed out, much like my credit card.
Perhaps I'm due for a break, a lovely vacation. Maybe a trip to visit some friends down in Central America ?
above; mountain retreat of our friends in Central America...doesn't it look relaxing and inviting?
above; surrounded by Central America's mountain range like a hidden retreat.below; the views from their balcony is especially serene.
below; our friends sitting at what I think is the most beautiful table I've ever seen...oh yes, I could live like this !
below; Just love this "Tree Table", and the chairs are neat too...where can I get a set ?
I'm with ya on the need for a trip! :)

What a lush and gorgeous place your friends have!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on all the energy it takes to photograph items and write scintillating copy for a description. Sometimes it feels like it takes longer to do that than it does to make the thing.
Hang in there!
Wow that place is gorgeous! I can see why you would want to vacation there, talk about relaxing huh? Hey do you use Firefox? It has a built in spellchecker which has saved my butt so many times! :-) Good luck with the selling so you can finance the trip!
ReplyDeleteoh wow.. you have to go.. that retreat looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteyes... writing descriptions is always so time consuming... i find it takes longer than taking the photos!
Jenn - Don't have Firefox, so I muddle through by opening a new message window in my Outlook Express email, type out whatever I'm doing, run outlook spell check, then copy and paste into the final post, comment, description box. Yeah it's like going around my elbow to get to my arse ! But it works. :)
ReplyDeleteCabin+Cub, Right now it's 102 degrees out on our back patio and it's 7:32 p.m. I'm truly longing for cool mountain air right now.
